At the end of the 18th century, a roll paper machine was invented. Already then wallpaper made in the technique of manual printing, the birthplace of which is considered to be China, was an alternative to this machine wallpaper. Such man-made wallpaper decorated palace interiors and is still used in the restoration of royal residences, such as Versailles. They are created using wooden carved boards-stamps. Many boards are more than 200 years old, they are equated to monuments of national wealth and taken under state protection. With their help, you can get not just wallpaper, but whole panoramas, almost scenic scenery from more than two dozen panels. Along with paper, silk can be the basis of such precious wallpaper. It is manually painted or covered with the finest embroidery. The most difficult things are done over 600 (!) Hours.
