Strato’s kitchen studio on Novinsky Boulevard has three appointments at once - a showroom, an architectural bureau and a contemporary art gallery where paintings, graphics and art objects are set against the background of impeccable forms of designer furniture Marko Gorini and architecture of Edward Zabuga Italian designer furniture Marko Gorini critics call architects. The most expensive cuisine in the world and in fact self-sufficient works. They look like minimalist sculptures, and their forms and proportions refer to constructivist buildings. For a designer who has declared perfectionism with his creative method, tactile sensations from his objects are no less important. Gorini's titanium kitchens are made without a single seam, metal surfaces are smooth and warm to the touch. This is the perfect high-tech avant-garde, put at the service of aesthetic approach to cooking. Naturally, the architectural environment for these sculpture kitchens is a special account. Edward Zabuga, the author of the show-room-studio-gallery Strato, managed to create a worthy duet for the aesthetic architects of Gorini. In Moscow, Strato is pure, almost distilled constructivism, diluted with natural materials and therefore "warm" and alive. Not environment-background, rather, environment-complement and partner. The studio of Zabuga himself is located here in the mezzanine. It is conditionally separated from the space of the showroom, so visitors and works of current artists often invade the workspace of architects. These invasions, however, are planned and, most likely, they are not very disturbed.
