Murat Savarin: The bar-club-cafe "Version 1.0" is, perhaps, a unique project of this kind. This is not just a place where you can come to eat and drink, - in principle, the club is a great computer for traveling.

SALON: Do you mean a room with projectors, where you sit in a chair, and the walls seem to revolve around like living ones?

 - It is called a virtual reality room. There are eight video projectors installed on the walls in a special way synchronized (accurate to one hundredth of a second!) Image. The theoretical capabilities of such a system make it possible to transmit a picture over the Internet at least from the other end of the globe. The second hall is the “golden VIP”, it is designed for business meetings, for example, if it was necessary to arrange an urgent presentation ... At the bar projectors shine onto screens installed in the arches through special masks that change the geometry of the image, TFT panels are embedded in the bar. The technologies implemented here were invented two years ago.

S: Was it your development?

 - Initially, the content that is broadcast on the screens was made by our project bureau. Now third-party 3D specialists are already involved in the work, the team is expanding. We already have 30 films, moreover, we are going to make special videos about the parties in "Versions".

S: What kind of equipment is there?

 - Компьютерные сети и программное обеспечение налаживались специалистами компании ROVER COMPUTERS. В данный момент настраивается беспроводная Wi-Fi-сеть - посетитель может войти в Интернет из любой точки заведения. В залах, на танцполе и в баре используются видеопроекторы марок INFOCUS, SONY, NEC (в баре) и ViewSonic. Акустические системы - JBL Professional, B&W. В акустической инсталляции принимали участие специалисты профессионального отделения компании A&T Trade.

S: What are the prospects for this kind of technology?

 - If we talk about architecture, then there is no need for the interior as such - any picture can be projected onto the walls, and the visitor can simultaneously be, for example, in a baroque castle or in Hawaii. As for prospects in general, I think that such three-dimensional worlds are the art of the future.
