In this apartment, almost every room opens onto a two-light living room with a transparent glass wall. To give the room warmth and comfort, against the background of cold glass - attributes of "beautiful life" from different times Work on a two-story apartment began for the architect Anna Erman with the definition of the style proposed by the customer. By the term "modern" he meant the functional combination of comfortable, fairly neutral furniture with the necessary equipment in a large room. It was possible to designate its scale due to the formation of two-light living room space - this became the basis of the interior, emphasized its individuality and determined the further development of events. An indispensable condition of the landlord - the presence of glass furniture in the interior - prompted the architect to develop this theme. Thus, glass walls appeared in the house, and the interior acquired visual integrity. Therefore, the mandatory division into separate rooms did not visually reduce the space. In the same room with the living room is a kitchen. Directly above the kitchen is an office with a glass work desk and a comfortable chair deployed in the direction of the living room. Thus, the "business" zones were merged. On the contrary, on the contrary, that part of the apartment where you can relax: a sofa area in the living room, and above it a bedroom and bathroom, separated by a glass wall. While in the living room, you can watch life "behind the glass" in the upper rooms. But as for the bathroom and the bedroom, the architect gave the family the right to choose whether to leave this intimate part of the apartment open or simply lower the blinds, hiding what is happening inside. The connecting link between the rooms on the first and second floors is a curved staircase with an unusual design. The interlacing of metal railings and balusters, made to order by the architect’s drawing, resembles at the same time a web, and even more, a snail. Anna emphasized her idea, “settling” on the steps of the “snail” lamp stairs. In her opinion, the interior created by the hand of a woman can always be recognized by the special attention to detail - the many decorating finds that have been applied by the architect provide clear confirmation of this. Combine such a variety of several common techniques. Large planes of the walls are covered with iridescent plaster, and the color range for all rooms is strictly limited to white, beige and black colors (the black “hanging” wall and black mirror ceiling above the stairs look especially impressive), which are enlivened with red patches. Thanks to this, even elements of different styles have formed into a single ensemble. Anna Erman: "The eclectic principle was implemented here - interspersing elements of different times and styles that make the interior, created in a modern way, comfortable. It was necessary to give an individual character to the rooms" behind the glass "- there is a lot of glass in this apartment."
