The ceramic industry is the national pride of Spain: more than ten centuries ago, the first European center for the manufacture of glazed tiles was established here. Spain does not part with the palm today. Every year, manufacturers from all over Europe come to the exhibition in Valencia, but national factories occupy leading positions.
