The first thing that looks at the new Kiev restaurant "Kazbek" (Lesi Ukrainki boulevard, d. 30a) is folded carpets on the ceiling and lampshades in the form of Georgian popes. The direct Caucasian orientation is confirmed by both sheep skins, and a working brazier, and ceramic panels with national patterns on the walls, and stamping on the doors. At this national flavor ends, and a completely different story begins. It manifests itself in a brick painted black, a combination of natural and artificial stones, modern furniture made by the author’s sketches, and a designer bar counter decorated with river stone.
