Who thinks clearly - clearly states. And in any languages. There is no exception and the language of architecture. Boris Uborevich-Borovsky - the author of an apartment on Rublevskoe Highway - assures that the dark (in every sense) space can be made light, clear, logical. And tells howSALON: Is sunlight penetrating through the stained glass windows in the ceiling? This apartment has a very interesting light: illuminated columns, panels, floor. In the ceiling lights. - No, this is his imitation. Reception, allowing you to create the impression of good natural light. For what? The fact is that initially this apartment was very dark: only three windows, and even a shadow, arising from the broken pattern of the facade. Therefore, here the task of the logical arrangement of functional areas inside the apartment was closely connected with the task of lighting the space in general and each of the five premises in particular.S: But there were obvious advantages in this apartment, for example, a huge balcony. - Yes of course. It is even more than a balcony, it is a real patio. In terms of it is a quadrilateral of irregular shape. On the one hand, they look at two windows of children's rooms, on the other - a full glazing of a small living room, which we arranged on the territory of the former cold loggia, having warmed it and opened it to the large living room area with a home cinema. By the way, from the small living room you can go to the patio through the wide swing doors.S: That is, in fact, you gave light to children and guests? But what about the private territory of the owners? - In the bedroom lighting should be muted. Therefore, the natural light penetrates there through the glazed opening from the small living room. And, of course, the bedroom is additionally illuminated with ceiling lights and wall lamps.S: Why is this light not felt as artificial? - First, due to the combination of incandescent lamps with fluorescent lamps. Secondly, because of the hidden lighting of the ceiling, columns, walls, floor, aquarium. Thirdly, thanks to specially selected shades of white paint. In the end, it’s not so important how this is achieved by methods, as long as people feel comfortable. The feeling of comfort is due not only to a successful, in our opinion, light solution, but also to the actual layout. In this apartment, as I said, these two components are closely interconnected. This space has its own logic and its own intrigue. The logic is a reasonable combination of open public and closed private areas. The intrigue does not open immediately: just after making the way from the hallway to the living room, you get into the small living room, and from there to the balcony. It is better to go slowly, stop at the bar, click the remote control at the plasma panel ... Actually, the culmination is the exit to an unexpectedly spacious patio. What is all the more unexpected when you are not in a country house or a penthouse, but somewhere in the middle of a high-rise building. Below the city, view of the Krylatskoe and Rublevskoe highway.Boris Uborevich-Borovsky: "We wanted to make comfortable housing with a logical layout for a family of four. The task was complicated by the fact that there were only three windows in a large apartment. However, we managed to solve it by creating a clear space with a very comfortable, natural light."
