What should be a beauty salon? According to designer Valery Kalyuzhny, the most important thing is that it should be multi-valued. The author managed to avoid stereotype: the beauty salon "Upgrade" turned out not only cozy, but also aristocratic, elegant, secular. The starting point of the concept is a game with space, expanding it with optical effects created by mirrors and rounded, flowing lines of the walls. The direction of design thought was set by the central semicircular wall. It was she who prompted the theme of open space, crowned with star scattering on the ceiling. The theme of heaven and earth was also born of the layout itself: the two-story construction of the room contributed to this architectural solution. Such an organization of space, according to the author, on the one hand, facilitated the “pressing” ceiling; secondly, it made it possible to solve a completely utilitarian task - to provide the salon with the necessary premises. Which while do not exist in isolation, but, like the universe itself, constitute a single whole. And the plasticity of the space, and the elements of decor, and the active associative series - all this harmoniously mates in the interior, creates a special sign system. Thus, the image of a graceful predator, a "secular lioness", was embodied in the leopard coloring, which envelops the room around the perimeter and is perceived along with the classic decor (in the form of a highly developed cornice). And the table top of the reception desk with a collage of portraits of famous movie actors is a kind of symbol of our fleeting, changing life. All these author's techniques characterize the modern approach to the design of the premises. Stylistically, the interior is still a classic. Modern elements introduced by the designer are not perceived as alien, do not violate unity, but give a new meaning to everything. So, a bold contrast of gold and chrome in the bar counter, a rhythmic change of textures, fancy floor patterns, hi-tech lamps bring a modern, avant-garde sound to the classic interior arrangement, and elegant furniture, noble wooden armrests of the chairs in the form of a cane, elements of hairdressing equipment give him sophistication In detail and detail the individuality of the author's approach is manifested. Among the finds of the designer is the unusual, at first glance, use of traditional brackets. Soaring, not resting on the walls, it is easy to carry the weight of the ceiling while they create a feeling of weightlessness, natural form. From different points of space, multi-dimensional, perspective perspectives open up, which inevitably contain a new, intriguing curiosity of the visitor. Due to the complex game of refracted light and reflections of the decor in the mirrors amazing effects arise. These numerous combinations make a variety in the interior, make it unexpected and original. In the appearance of such interiors, a new trend can be traced, when the noble classics are returning to replace the laconic minimalism - in a modern interpretation.
