To architects from «Студии B&L» There was a difficult task to create a neoclassical interior in a modern penthouse. What they did - in our story

The customer likes the so-called Versace style, which is a mixture of antique motifs and glamorous chic. In general, the future housing seemed to him bright and non-standard. However, the apartment itself is a penthouse in an elite new building. Naturally, it was impossible to fully integrate the classic style into the modern space with a continuous panoramic glazing of two walls. Thus was born the theme of the game and the interpenetration of classic and minimalism. From the Versace style, the architects took only some of the most recognizable features — the geometric meander pattern, rich decor, and luxurious tech style — and offered their own, original interpretation.

In each of the rooms, the theme of the interpenetration of classics and modernity is presented with a certain amount of irony. In the parade hall, which became the center of the apartment, the floor is lined with mosaic smalt. Moreover, the drawing was deliberately chosen modern, with whimsical floral ornament. The decoration of the walls, the ceiling, the selection of furniture, on the contrary, are made in full accordance with the canons of classicism. Chandelier - designer, made in the style of a modern classic. According to Vitali, such a bold, "hooligan" decision makes the interior memorable, individual. The kitchen is also decorated in contrast to the “classic-modern”. Functional kitchen furniture with lacquered facades looks very unusual against the background of gilded carved dining room furniture, velvet poufs and ceramic panels on the floor, laid out of tiles with traditional VERSACE ornament. The decoration of the living room is dominated by a strict imperial style. Here abundance uses purple and velvet, baroque carved furniture. As accents, the architects chose decor that corresponds to the status of the interior - copies of paintings by the famous Italian Baroque painter Giovanni Tiepolo, bas-relief of Alexander the Great's head, made of porcelain.

Architect Vitaly Boldinov: “The customer wanted bright and bold decisions in color and style plan. His initial wish was the so-called Versace style. But the very characteristic of the object - a penthouse with panoramic windows, the modern look of the house - demanded a serious adaptation of the neoclassical. We decided to build an interior on the game and the interpenetration of classic and modern, traditional and innovative "
