The Utrecht chair has become the source of several fashionable reissues. It was invented by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1935. Since 1988, the model, named after the legendary designer’s hometown, has been produced by Cassina, and has managed to become one of the iconic products of the Italian company.

In honor of the 90th anniversary of Cassina, the current art director of the factory, Patricia Urquiola, has carried out a series of high-profile collaborations. Graphic upholstery Boxblocks decorated "Utrechts" Dutch artist and designer Bertyan Pot. And Paul Smith pereobil 90 seats with his cloth Point from Maharam by Kvadrat.
