From 3 to 5 May 2017 in the picturesque town of Cernobbio on the shores of Lake Como, an exhibition of textiles Proposte.

Proposte is one of the main events of the world of textiles, which is held annually on the territory of Villa Erba. And at the same time it is unusually closed: not everyone is allowed to visit, but only pros who received an invitation from the organizers or participants: representatives of factories, large retail chains, wholesalers, designers, the press. Exhibitors are manufacturers of interior textiles, curtains and upholstery that meet strict selection criteria.

Founded in 1993, the exhibition celebrates its 25th anniversary. This time 89 companies took part in it. Most are Italians, but you could also see textiles from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey and other countries. The organizers honored 13 exhibitors who have appeared at the exhibition since the year it was founded: a cloth was sewn from the samples of their textiles, which decorated the central pavilion.
