In 1992, British fashion designer Paul Smith ordered fabrics from the American brand Maharam for the upcoming collection. The collaboration stretched for 15 years: in the end, there are twenty collections of Paul Smith, published by Maharam. This fall, a polka dot tie has been turned into a new series of Dots upholstery in nine different colors. Bright dots are printed on the “goose foot” pattern - a completely understandable mixture of British intellectualism and American pop art.
