Karl Lagerfeld has already dressed up a Christmas tree. It is installed in the lobby of Claridge’s five-star hotel in London on November 22, 2017.

Each year, the invited guests of the five-star hotel, including designer Marc Newson, Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey, fashion designers Albert Elbaz, John Galliano, decorate the Christmas symbol in their own style.
Karl Lagerfeld sought inspiration in his own memories. “Christmas trees are the strongest“ souvenir ”of my happy childhood,” he says. White linen tablecloths under small spruce trees are a reminder of the festive table that was laid by Lagerfeld's mother.
Upside-down trees of various sizes are located around the perimeter of the lobby. In the center of the composition is the main heroine of the coming holidays. A stalactite-like spruce with a height of almost five meters sparkles with silver. The star crowns the roots painted in a silver shade, a silver “rain” hangs from the branches, the decor in the form of silver leather feathers is adjacent to handmade snowflakes from German craftsmen. Heat and light adds a shining garland in the form of candles. At the foot - a sheep skin rug imitates snow cover.
