In the work of the decorator there is something mystical - so unexpected are the metamorphoses that, due to his efforts, occur with the interior. As Oriental fabrics, accessories and carved oak furniture appeared in a country house designed by architect Mikhail Filippov, an amazing image appeared in it — a mixture of English classics and sensual East. This image, proposed by Moscow decorator Nadezhda Chernigova, turned out to be very close to the owner of the house. Naturally, now she loves her home - as unusual, cozy and feminine as she herself Dancing shiva [1] Bought at the antique market in Dubai. The oak bench in the hallway is a replica of a very old thing, XII-XIII century. Next - the Indian goddess of money, also bought on the antique collapse in the Emirates [2]. The majestic furniture of the Tudor era was remarkably well fitted into this house. "The English oak is a very refined tree, it seems to glow from the inside, like amber ... Besides, it is unusually pleasant to the touch." A huge dining table and leather studded chairs with brass rivets are a very accurate replica of the original of the 16th century, custom-made at the Tudor factory. On the table are a hookah and Moroccan teapots. Scarf, bottle of perfume Gallery "Tangier" [3]. The screen from Tudor "was simply liked as a beautiful item - for comfort." But it goes surprisingly well with a huge, good-quality leather sofa. Baxter[4]. "He has a very friendly look, and besides, he is very practical," says the decorator. The chair of the Tetrad factory is upholstered with "saffron" fabric with medieval ornamental motifs. [5]. "I wanted colors of ocher, fire, earth, and this fabric was very fit ..." Of course, this is also an exact replica, only this time - the English chair of the end of the XVIII - beginning of the XIX century. On the dressing table by Royal Oak in the bedroom is a handmade Baldi di Firenze jewelry box made of crystal and bronze with gold leaf. Here is the lamp Baga "with frivolous pendants and beads." Oriental decorations. Gallery "Tangier" [6]. In the bathroom is an old Moroccan wardrobe - "he is over 100 years old, that's for sure." The motifs of the carving and the characteristic yellow-red colors of the mural give its origin: the village of Tuareg, one of the most ancient peoples of Morocco. Inside, all the old shelves are covered with glass, so the wardrobe is absolutely functional: there are perfumes, creams and other nice things there [7]. According to Nadezhda Chernigova, the pouf, upholstered in fabric with oriental motifs, is good for emphasizing the oriental character of the interior. Leather slippers were brought from Cameroon as a gift to the hostess [8]. The bed with a canopy from the Royal Oak in the bedroom differs serious size. "This is a bed for a person who loves himself very much and is not afraid to admit it." Coloni fabric was matched to it, which softens the severity of Tudor furniture. The texture of the fabric imitates hand-made embroidery, and its design is an old French pattern that dates back to the end of the XVII - beginning of the XVIII century. Lamps with red shades at the head of the bed - again Baga, "such fascinating red dots ..." [9]
