Serena Confalonieri works as an independent art director, industrial and graphic designer: creates carpets with geometric patterns, unusual mirrors, ceramic vases and wallpapers. And if tomorrow the first names of Italian design are called, one of them will probably be Serena Confalonieri.

Milanka Serena Confalonieri was born in 1980. Having received a master's degree and the profession of interior designer, she began her career in the architectural and design firms of Milan, Barcelona and Berlin. She began to actively exhibit by participating in projects around the world, earning first prizes, including the prestigious German Design Award 2016 for the collection of table textiles and tableware for the Bavarian manufacture Arzberg. On porcelain - classic floral motifs in the style of Tiffany's stained glass art and in the fashionable palette of the 1920s.

Confalonieri is an attentive author. Each collection necessarily has a history and references to the cultural heritage that today is so in demand. Porro wallpaper collection. 2017

One of the last works of Selena is a project for Porro. The Italian company asked to create new motifs for the decoration of wardrobes and wardrobes. Serena turned them into vintage chests in which clothes and objects can be viewed against the background of drawings inspired by the varied graphics of the 1930s and 40s.

In 2017, at the Milan Design Week, Serena showed several bright collections at once. Maalimirror mirrors, Masai ceramic vases and decorative amulets were presented in the Malìparmi boutique.
