Gessi: alone with nature

Gessi is a young and dynamically developing Italian company that specializes in the production of premium-grade sanitary ware for bathrooms. With twenty years of successful experience in the market, Gessi positions itself as a brand that primarily cares about the comfort and quality of life of the consumer.

As part of the Milan Design Week in April 2016, Gessi presented its new collection Gessi Equilibrio, authored by designer Maurizio Scutellà. New items - a line of mixers of a very unusual form - the company exhibited in the form of an installation, a kind of essay on the topic of the closeness of man and nature, inner comfort and creation.

Each mixer is made in the form of a stone perfectly polished with water, on top of which a rounded control panel is mounted. The shape of the crane perfectly fits the human palm. Guide Gessi emphasizes that the latest development is the result of creativity not only the designer, but also the sculptor. The artist and philosopher Marcel Lesko took part in the creation of the collection. Indeed, outwardly identifying a new bathroom accessory as a faucet turns out to be difficult, as it resembles a modern art object.

The Gessi faucet fits in perfectly with the human palm. Mixer from the collection Gessi Equilibrio - in copper color. General view of the installation of Gessi Equilibrio in the pavilion on Via Manzoni. Light version of the mixer, in which the chrome-plated control panel resembles a pearl. The shape of the Gessi mixers resembles sea pebbles, a natural stone that has been trimmed with water. Variation in black chrome color. The philosophy of Gessi is a healthy lifestyle and high-quality ecology.

The new line of mixers is available in several colors. At the same time, the main element, the so-called base, and the control panel can be combined with each other.

In all the Gessi Equilibrio mixers presented, it is possible to combine the main body and control panel.
