Gabriele Buratti is an architect and design teacher at the Milan Polytechnic Institute. His brother Oscar is the architect and initiator of the creation of a joint bureau. The Spello table is their first and so far the only job for Flexform. Brutalism became the main source of inspiration: hence the painted metal sculpture supports. The table top is a simple rectangular shape, made of noble marble or tactile wood (walnut, ash, ebony) Different direction of wood fiber pattern pays tribute to the tradition of inlay with veneer.
