The First Moscow Biennale of Design starts April 11, 2017. The organizers are the Central House of Artists, HSE School of Design, Moscow Design Museum and the Golden Bee Foundation for the Support and Development of Graphic Design. Design words combine the areas of graphic design, information, environmental, fashion design, design of retail spaces and, finally, directly industrial design. The Moscow Design Museum will present the project “Discovering Utopia: Forgotten Archives of Soviet Design” - a unique legacy of artists-designers of 1960–1980s from the museum collection. The exhibition received the main prize at the London Design biennale 2016.

In the special section of the exhibition will show "Shaping Hungary: Hungarian design in the XXI century" - the work of young inventors and engineers. As well as the project "Weltformat: Design Tourism" - the work of leading schedules who made an attempt to revive the traditions of the classic Swiss poster.

In the “Student Expositions” section, students of the HSE School of Design, an art installation of students of the Institute of Business and Design, an exposition of the Architectural Environment Design Department of the Moscow Architectural Institute, an exhibition project of Czech designers Young and Success, as well as first-year students of the School of Design of the RANEPA.
