“Nomad will allow us to rethink the classic idea of the fair. We will try to create something new, outside the template, very intimate and present the objects of collection design in a completely new context. ”
Nomad will last only four days. Only thirteen participants, among them Milan Nilufar, Paris Galerie BSL, London David Gill and Gallery FUMI. The international membership of the Heritage Gallery is also part of the star list, its owner Christina Krasnyanskaya will bring samples of Soviet design to Monaco. Each gallery will occupy and decorate one of the rooms of Villa La Vigie. Special projects will feature Rick Owens, Maison Boghossian, Christoph Graber and even Serpentine Galleries. Discussions and speeches of specialists will be held on the open terrace with a fantastic view of Monte Carlo. La Vigie is located on a cliff directly above the Monte-Carlo Club. The villa was built in 1901 and for a long time served as the home of a princely family, until Karl Lagerfeld bought and reconstructed it.
