The chair and bench in translucent plastic became one of the notable exhibits at Design Miami / Basel 2016. These works by Italian designers from Nucleo studio were presented at the Ammann Gallery stand. Viennese bentwood chair, an iconic piece of furniture produced by Thonet today, got into epoxy resin. The famous chair number 14 workshops Michael Tonet began to produce in the middle of the XIX century. By the 1930s, 50 million copies of this most popular and beloved chair of the 20th century had been bought. Nucleo participants named their series Souvenir of the Last Century and presented vintage items as archaeological artifacts found in amber.
