The businessman known in the USA owns a residence in Nashville (Tennessee) for more than 17 years. The house itself was built in the 1980s and, by American standards, is considered historical architecture. Indeed, the interiors of the house looked old-fashioned, but they felt the megalomania and theatricality of the American star of the 1940s - decorator Dorothy Draper. Recently, after consulting with his family, the owner decided to completely reconstruct the estate and turned to Pro Chad James (Chad James Group), the master of modern bourgeois interiors, who created one of the best architectural and design offices in South America. Chad James is well aware of the tastes of his customers and owns the techniques of a discreet American suite. Since the house is one of the largest and most expensive in the city (total area is 2,200 sq. M.), Chad James was given the task of creating interiors with a “design for all times” and, most importantly, that the interior decoration corresponded to the level of real estate. Postmodernism of the 80s sounded pretentious, so Chad James relied on neoclassical. The result is a house in which comfort and luxury go side by side with each other.

The living room is zoned as a series of cozy spaces. Round windows and wide ribbons of beams resemble D. Draper's theatrical interiors. Family lounge. A table with American walnut table top contrasts. Restrained decor dilutes the deliberately natural material. Canteen. Chad James regards it as his luck: it's homely here, but you can feel the big style of a huge house. A pair of black metal chandeliers underline the style of the room. Living room. Soft sofas with neutral upholstery. On the wall is the work of the modern artist J. Opie. On the floor carpet with a large graphic ornament. Great Hall. Due to fake arches on the ceiling and the real arched openings, the corridor looks like a palace suite. On the dresser there is a symmetrical composition of graphics in gilded frames, vintage lamps and small plastic. Next to the French chair of the XVIII century. - motley modern stool. Front dining room. It is here that the hosts arrange receptions and gather up to 30 people for dinner. Chairs Artistic Frame. On the table antique lamp. On the wall is a painting by an American artist, J. Dayne. The central hall with a magnificent staircase sets a festive tone, large scale and black and white gamut. On the stairs - a sculpture of T. Sachs Hello Kitty. The floor is tinted American walnut

Chad James chose a proven American neoclassical, fashionable and pompous. The architect all the time remembered that the main luxury of these interiors is square meters, free, unaffected and generously flooded with daylight from huge windows.

In the living room a large portrait of the work of S. Vine.

“The starting point for us was a magnificent collection of modern art, collected by the customer,” says Chad James. “Excellent works, famous names: Andy Warhol, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Julian Opie, Stella Wine.” Art makes the necessary artistry and gives the most stringent interiors character, the architect believes.

The living room, which the owner uses as a study, is covered with dark wooden panels. On the wall are three colored cats - manual graphics by E. Warhol. Right above the sofa is a mirror from the old city grocery store Nashville. Огромная спальня разделена на две части — пространство вокруг кровати Chad James и два дивана с журнальными столиками для отдыха и приватных бесед. Подушки Pindler & Pindler. From the kitchen offers a picturesque view. Under the large square bath there is a special room with a huge window overlooking the garden. The host’s spacious bathroom resembles a living room. And size, and wooden wooden floor, and comfortable furniture. To prevent the mirror from being lost against the background of a huge wall, C. James invented a spectacular decorative frame.

Chad James proposed a classic monochrome. The walls of all the rooms of a huge house are painted with Benjamin Moore paint, a shade of white dove. In the living rooms, most of the walls are draped with fabrics of the same milky color. Against this background, any works of modern art look impeccable, do not lose antique objects, especially with brass or gold-plated details. In contrast to the white walls, Chad James chose a dark boardwalk of tinted American walnut and black wall panels in the large living room. In the same black and white palette, Chad James chose furniture for the project.

The wall with the most favorite work of art of the British Girl with Balloon - the work of the mysterious street artist Banksy.
