An interesting technique is to place the objects of the composition asymmetrically, more intensely on the one hand than on the other.

• A collection of works - a whole. The composition should be centered as a single picture. It is desirable to determine the focal point in advance: before the actual hanging. It is recommended to spread out the work on the floor, estimating the possible distances between the frames.

• Eye center composition. Usually this height is 145 cm, if the ceilings are too high or low, the 3/4 rule applies. Visually dividing the wall into 4 parts, the point is placed in the center of the third part, if you count from the floor.

• The size of the composition is proportional to the wall. Art collection in a single weighing should not be lost in space. Big pieces are always more effective than small pieces. The form will help to achieve visual harmony: in an ideal variant the picture should be the same shape as the wall on which it hangs.

• Above the furniture work place indented 20 cm. Free space will help avoid the feeling of cramping. But in this rule exceptions are dictated by the composition.

• Fasteners are individual for each job. Their choice depends on the size of the picture and the weight of the frame. Works of small and medium sizes are usually hung on a single hook or with a D-shaped ring directly on the nail. Heavier pictures should be suspended, distributing the load between the points of support.
