The idea to design the interior at the junction of times belongs to the authors of the project - Alexandra Titarev and Marina Korostovtseva. According to them, the constructive and artistic image evolved gradually. “The owners purchased antiques specifically for their new home,” says Marina Korostovtseva. “Taken together, they exist in a world where the XVII century and the XXI century intersect, giving rise to a new space - a space in which it is impossible not to admire the complexity of the unique handmade work of the masters of the Middle Ages, new modern materials and technologies. An apartment is still a living environment, it should not be like a museum, where every exhibit exists on its own. Since our customers are young people, an energetic, trendy interior would suit them. Therefore, we decided to delicately enter antiquarian things into the space that is modern in meaning and spirit. ”

Many things in this house are unique. Take, for example, a dining table. Its octahedral tabletop is made in the old technique of Florentine mosaic, using rare rocks of colored marble, jasper, turquoise, lapis lazuli, malachite and other ornamental stones. Connoisseurs know that such pieces of furniture are mainly in the collections of state museums and only occasionally appear at auctions. Above the chest of drawers is the painting “Pier” in a gilded classic baguette, made in an avant-garde, abstract manner. The plot of the berth did not appear by chance: it reflected the philosophy of the interior, in which objects from around the world gathered at one shore.

Figuratively apartment is a city in miniature. Here, as in any city, there is the main square, lanes, cafe-bar, hotel, skyscraper, houses ... So, the central square - the hallway - is made in the form of an art installation. The three-dimensional structure, in which the dressing room is located, is wrapped with tapestry canvases designed and made by hand based on the original French tapestry with scenes of a knightly tournament. And in the role of a skyscraper serves a fireplace, fully lined with natural white marble. Of course, all these town-planning associations are nothing more than symbolism. Reliability is different. This city, modern and at the same time ancient, filled with the spirit of history, high art and craftsmanship of people, expresses the best manifestations of creativity.
