Architect Svetlana Litvin created this sophisticated interior in collaboration with its customers - great travel lovers

The owners of this apartment are a married couple, lovers of distant wanderings. They travel almost professionally, for a long time preferring reserved corners of the globe to usual tourist routes. Their Moscow apartment was conceived as a “safe haven”, where you can relax from impressions. However, the magical images from the world of travel penetrated and here, and the interior from this only won. “Conceived as strictly classic, it has become fashionable and modern, as much as a classic-style interior can become,” says the project’s author Svetlana Litvin. - Initially, there were planned discreet colors, strict forms - in general, a calm elegant classic interior. In the process, the concept has changed. We wanted the interior to become more alive, relaxed, eclectic. And reflecting the lifestyle of the owners. "

Especially vividly new concept appeared in the living room. In accordance with her, in the living room, paintings by a contemporary artist appeared - portraits of Chinese girls, as well as bright upholstered furniture in a purple-green upholstery. Pictures of the owners brought from a trip to Southeast Asia, and the sofa and chairs were made to order. By style it Louis XV, but very bright and optimistic in today's fashionable palette. Upholstered furniture in the style of Louis perfectly complements the cabinet furniture with wide "inserts" of gilded carving in a style close to neo-baroque. With its carved patterns, the dense neo-baroque ornament of the wallpaper echoes, against which portraits look particularly advantageous. Ancient Oriental chest, Iranian carpets, mirrors and silk curtains complete the image of the interior.

Project author Svetlana Litvin: “This interior, created in close cooperation with customers, turned out bright, with exotic accents. It was all the more interesting to work on it. ”
