Thicken paint in the interior of this architect's mansion near Moscow Tatiana Boronina inspired by the surrounding nature. The thicket behind the windows of the house looks fascinating in the moonlight. In addition, dark walls are the perfect backdrop for classic silver-shimmering furniture.

As the author of the project tells Tatyana Boroninacustomers like dark colors. Their house is located in the middle of the forest, and they wanted to transfer the atmosphere of mystery, mystery and into the interior. Of course, a real night forest can deceive very few people. Rather, the architect was repelled by the romantic image of the fabulous wilds, the thrilling atmosphere of the forest thicket, occasionally cut by phosphorescent moonlight flashes. This associative series is best seen in the decoration of the living room-music salon. Dark brown, tinged with dark chocolate, the walls in the absence of lighting look almost black. On their background, all objects become sharper, more contrast. Shimmering silver, patent leather gleaming in dim light and polished surfaces are especially effective. “We chose brown as our base color,” remarks Tatyana Boronina. - This is one of the most psychologically comfortable colors: it is warm, “cozy”, its symbolism is associated with nature, earth, autumn, home. It is also important that dark shades have always been associated with solidity: they are chosen by conservative people who love traditional style in design and clothing. In combination with brilliant hues, the dark creates a special, festive, solemn atmosphere. In the master bedroom I used another spectacular color combination: terracotta-red walls act as a background, and black and silver details of the decor accentuate. The interior looks bright, spectacular, emotionally. "

Project author Tatyana Boronina: “Not many customers decide on dark colors in the interior: there is a perception that black paint is something depressive and gloomy. I, on the contrary, am confident that with their help you can create a very solemn and festive atmosphere, if, of course, you do not overdo it. In this interior, dark colors visually expand the space, they are almost invisible and work as a background, advantageously emphasizing the beauty of the baroque furnishings ”
