At all times there were people who devote their lives to treasure hunting. In the expectation that fortune will turn on them a favorable look, and the years of wandering will pay off with interest. But it is good luck once to give your location - and it is impossible to resist the temptation to tempt fate again and again. Visitors to the new casino "Aquatoria" (St. Petersburg, Vyborg Embankment, 61) have a similar feeling. The architects turned the room of 250 m2 in the "underwater kingdom". Glance guests open sunken ships with treasure. To warm up the excitement of the players, the emphasis in the interior is placed on huge chests filled with gold. Dark blue floor, ceiling, walls disappear, dissolve in the endless "sea spaces". Silhouettes of predatory fish painted on the walls with textured plaster. In the luminous playing table aquarium floats live predator piranha. Some constructive elements are solved in the form of parts of old ships, columns imitate their keels. Administrative premises hidden behind the stern. Ordinary walls became sloping and turned into boards. It is interesting that the "wooden" chests are not wooden at all, but from a gidrok, expertly painted under a tree. And the impression that they are filled to the full with gold, architects create with the help of optical illusion, that is, light refracted in mirrors.
