Designers — us. From the fashionable print in the polka-dot head is spinning!

It all started half a century ago or even earlier. Fashion historians distinguish something similar to polka dots, even in cave paintings. Many people liked this print: from English dandies and young ladies to Walt Disney. Modern designers recall the post-war era, when Christian Dior and Yves Saint-Laurent began to use a cheerful, flirtatious pattern. In 2012, this motif turned out to be the title theme of many shows (Oscar de la Renta, Stella McCartney and others).
