The living room of this house is made in style. ar-deko. The kitchen of this house is made in style. ar-deko. The bedroom of this house is also made in ar-deko. And home theater as well. Only if you put all these rooms in one row, it turns out that they are all different ...

Create a house in style ar-deko It was the wish of the customer - a young man. Project author Evgeny Kurakin, also a young man, offered to do everything not just in ar-deko, and in each room to experiment with this style. The customer gladly went to the experiment, allowing him to carry out the most daring research in the house, and for the most desperate experiments he gave the most private room - his bedroom. To be honest, it was a really risky move, because most of the time, living rooms and guest bathrooms are used for experiments, and bedrooms are more conservative. Here is the opposite: the living room is made in moderation. ar-deko, with a slight veil of ethnics (which gives out the yellow-sand color of the walls) and with quite familiar ar-deko furnished SMANIA. Guest bathroom even more modest. But the dining room is solved in a completely unexpected way: the surface of the silver-pearl walls resembles pressed foil, the black glass of the tabletop looks modern too, and the canvas of the fashion artist resembling the illustrations for The Martian Chronicles complements the whole picture. It would seem not at all ar-deko. But Evgeny Kurakin believes that ar-deko it does not need to be considered one-sided, it is a flexible style, especially in modern interpretation, and it can have many readings.

After an elegant silver dining room and purple kitchen, it seems that the architect can now expect any surprises. But the design of the bedroom exceeds all expectations. In the middle is a huge bed made from sketches. Evgenia Kurakina; in fact, just look at her. The design is very complicated: the bed is on a special podium, decorative glass racks were installed in the corners and illuminated from the inside ... The bed also has a high leather headboard and its carved ceiling! The podium is also highlighted. In general, due to the large number of different lamps, there are a lot of lighting scenarios in the bedroom. By combining lamps with each other, you can change not only the intensity of illumination, but also the color gamut.

However, the most amazing room in this house is not a bedroom, but a home theater located in the attic. The architect’s home cinema separated the glass walls with a pattern in the staircase. ar-deko. This drawing is repeated, but already in color, indoors, on huge cheerful stained-glass windows depicting the Empire State Building. The theme of New York and skyscrapers here is not just random, but quite logical. After all ar-deko - The style invented specifically for the "new" American architecture - skyscrapers with their vast spaces. Evgeny Kurakin brilliantly beat this theme as well: inside, glass walls are perceived as huge windows of high-rises, and opposite walls decorated with dark wood give the space a feeling of power characteristic of the architecture of the 30s. Thus, the author of the project was able through design to tell us the whole story about ar-deko, showing how diverse and not like this style can be.

Project author Evgeny Kurakin: "Honestly, ar-deko - my favorite style. Because he gives freedom of expression. He does not dictate and does not establish a clear framework, in it you can feel like a real artist. This is a very fertile style. Here, on the one hand, there are no obligatory elements, and on the other - there is a huge field for serious work. This is the design of wall panels, and the development of color solutions, and the most careful choice of textiles ... And, frankly, I don’t even know what work in the house I most liked; difficult, but all was interesting "
