The apartment is divided into three full-fledged independent blocks - almost like in a big house, where the rooms of the owners, children and public spaces are located separately. Accordingly, in this interior, the guest area with a winter garden and a study is separated by a corridor from the master bedroom, as well as from the children's rooms, which are preceded by a separate hall.
The layout may seem strange for the current format of a modern apartment, but just the owners and the designer wanted to move away from this format. At this oddity does not end. In the geometry of the premises a lot of irregular lines, the symmetry is deliberately broken. The living room has the shape of an arc, as well as the master bedroom. Therefore, at the entrance you get an interesting effect - from the beginning of the room you can not see its end, it is hidden behind a smooth turn. For example, entering the bedroom does not immediately see the bed, and the owners feel particularly protected from the outside world. In general, all the elements of the interior, up to the smallest details, work on the feeling of security. The stylistic concept of the apartment is also focused on creating an extraordinary comfort. To create a deliberately outdated and non-urban atmosphere, a special lighting concept was developed. Bright light from the windows is muffled by thick curtains and tulle. Electric light is deliberately scattered and wonderfully transformed through stained glass windows. Furniture and accessories were selected not just in the classical style, but with a certain texture - deep, rich, very pleasant to the touch.
At one time, when St. Petersburg was the capital of the empire, Moscow was considered a patriarchal and cozy city.
