Architect Maria Silver created for the Italian brand Visionnaire furniture collection. Items were presented to the public at the 2013 iSaloni Milan exhibition. In this issue we focus on the main component of the collection.

Comfortably sitting on the sofa, which she herself designed, Maria tells about the creative process: “In the sofa, the first thing is proportions. It will be comfortable or uncomfortable to sit on the sofa, lie down, listen to the interlocutor, drink brandy - the whole amount of pleasant sensations depends primarily on the correct proportions. The height of the backrest, the depth of the seat, the bend of the armrest - this is engineering, but this is also the beginning of the sofa.
