Tim Smith acquired his first yacht, the Broward, in 1995, and in 1997, Savannah was created on his order. The beautiful yacht, 118 feet long and 24 wide, cost Tim at $ 9.5 million. The creator of "Savannah" - Lewis de Besto, designer from Miami. The owner of the yacht, a native of North Carolina, wanted to give his "houseboat" a sunny, "southern" mood The design of the yacht combines a smooth, calm exterior and a welcoming, inviting interior. According to the designer, the concepts of coziness and comfort best describe his creation. The yacht is trimmed with panels of valuable African wood, which are complemented by ebonite inserts. In the interior, modern design developments (for example, soft comfortable chairs and sofas made to order) are interspersed with pieces of furniture and decorative elements of antique work. The visual center of the cabin, the “face” of the yacht, is an Italian game table, the room is decorated with elegant bronze handrails. The gamma prevailing in the interior is golden honey, with inclusions of ivory color. This palette perfectly justifies the romantic name of the yacht, casting thoughts about the hot African sand. The style is a timeless classic, which speaks of its owner primarily as a solid and solid person. The bar, located on the wide aft, is equipped with everything needed for picnics: grills, ice cream makers, powerful refrigerators. The owner is proud of nine high bar stools, calling them the "jewelry collection" of the yacht. "We love spending time with friends here, telling jokes to each other, and sipping beer," says Smith. He is very pleased with his brainchild, believing that the designers did their best job. "When you get on most yachts, you are simply afraid to anything touch like in a museum. I am glad that the Savannah turned out to be very comfortable and quite democratic at the same time. "Illustrations provided by Luiz de Basto Designs
