Moscow architects Elena Farvazova and Elena Vygovskaya created a bright extravagant space. One of the main principles on which the interior of the apartment was created is the idea of visual transformation of the premises, mixing of the most different styles and directions of design ... You wonder when you see how elegantly classic columns propped up a “flying” classroom from the science fiction films of the future, how cozy under this glass structure, onyx floors were fitted with stout couches with pillows, tables, ornate wrought iron stairs. Perhaps the most difficult, but the most interesting thing is to try to reconcile with one another the polyphony of styles from different eras and cultures. That is what the architects tried to do in their new work. "The customer loves different styles, he wanted the apartment to combine elements of different cultures and eras, and we decided to reflect this in our work. The apartment space is divided into conditional zones, each of which has its own theme. Despite the fact that these zones are completely different in terms of style, they nevertheless combine and do not contradict each other. Like the royal chambers, where there was a place for both the Chinese rooms, and classical-style halls, and rich baroque chambers, "says Elena Farvazova. For example, the entire children's area is made in the Oriental style: the Chinese hall, from where the doors to the Japanese room of the son and the Eastern room of the daughter lead. The central part of the apartment is different. This is a living room, divided into two conventional zones: a sofa-fireplace and a classic dining room with a contrasting cold and austere kitchen. The principle of visual transformation of the premises is solved with the help of lighting: from lighting and small built-in light bulbs to bright top light. So, if necessary, the living room can instantly be transformed into a dance floor - colored light fixtures and spotlights connected to the music system are mounted into the columns. The decoration of the first floor are stained glass windows based on the paintings of Vrubel, as well as a fancy forged staircase. She "embraces" the office and leads to the next level. The effect of an unusual, interesting space is achieved due to several levels of rooms. There are four of them. On the first floor there is a dining room, kitchen, living room, children's rooms, on the second - a library and a study with glass walls and floor, soaring above the lower space. The third level of the apartment is occupied by a bedroom, a billiard room. On the fourth - a winter garden.Elena Farvazova: "The apartment should be such that it was interesting to live in it. Therefore, in its design you should not be afraid to use bold colors, materials, different styles. As in the Peterhof Palace: look, there are no similar rooms!"
