The design of this apartment is difficult to attribute to any particular style, it is just modern, comfortable and perfectly fits the lifestyle of its owners.

The penthouse is located very well - in a house built next to the Garden Ring. The owners of this apartment were bribed by the views of the center of Moscow, which open from its windows. The dynamic life of the capital, continuously flowing outside the house, has become an important part of its atmosphere. Since the best rhythm of the modern metropolis conveys high-tech style, the owners thought that it would be the leitmotif in the design of the apartment. However, a more detailed development of the project revealed that in fact they have slightly different views on how this apartment should look. The owner wanted a hint of rigor and solidity in the interior. And for his wife, it turned out to be important that the house remained a pleasant, cozy and comfortable home.

Architect Svetlana Mikhailova managed to find a compromise between the wishes of the couple. The most striking example of this is the living room, located on the lowest level of the penthouse. The author of the project offered to revet its walls with dark slate slabs, and they successfully softened their strict appearance with cream and honey shades. Elegant sofas, armchairs, chairs look very impressive against this strict background. No less impressive was the layout of the room. It is a huge space that combines different functional areas - a place to watch TV, a fireplace, a dining room with a large oval table, a breakfast area and a kitchen. This layout made the living room the center of family life. Here the hosts relax, spend family holidays, meet guests. By the way, guests are always welcome here, so a large room with its own dressing room and bathroom is equipped for them on the first level. All other rooms are located above. On the second floor there are the bedrooms of the owners and their children. And on the third - the cinema and office. In addition, there are separate rooms for staff. Such a solution looks absolutely logical in a large country house, but is unusual for a city apartment. However, it made the life of the penthouse owners as comfortable as possible.

Project author Svetlana Mikhailova: “Customers first wanted their penthouse to be decorated in high-tech style. But then the original project was later edited, which added more comfort to the interior, made it easier, made it lighter and warmer. The result of our work was a kind of modern design without a specific stylistic binding. ”
