Eccentric classics - it happens? "It happens!" - the owner of the French AGR brand Guillaume Albisetti confidently answers, telling about the brand’s stand on "Interior Show"

Guillaume Albisetti gives the impression of a romantic hero, impetuous, passionate. And the furniture loves the same - classical in form and eccentric in content. “Our factory appeared in 1987,” says Guillaume. “My parents founded it. My father is still responsible for the design, we work in tandem with him. True, neither he nor I have professional design education. AGR he was engaged in antiques, was an expert in art of the XVIII-XIX centuries. And an expert known, he has a keen eye and impeccable taste. Antique experience, of course, makes itself felt. chairs, but gradually expanded line No, and now we have, it seems, all possible pieces of furniture. The most upscale things are made by hand. I believe that it is manual work that is as artistic as possible;

At first, our furniture was purely classical, very traditional, in compliance with all canons. Now we are trying to gradually move away from this. We bring in a share of eccentricity, first of all with regard to colors, - gold, silver, and contrast mixes are often used. For example, the facade of the dresser can be painted in classic black, neutral white or official gray. You open - and inside there is a crazy, almost acidic green color. This is our own, author's interpretation of the classics. For example, a collection that will appear in the winter will be a complete surprise for our customers. I think no one else has done this. We are for the innovative classics. "

Pavel Teplukhin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Troika Dialog Management Company: “Many things on the AGR stand clearly appeal to antiquity. They remind me of the 18th century — a gallant era, when they were particularly appreciated by their capricious form, exquisite finishes and delicate decor. I love antiques, and things with history are of particular value to me. In the interior they create a refined atmosphere. It seems to me that this furniture can be considered, paradoxically, as modern antiques. "
