In this large house, under the roof of which live three generations of the family, there is a classic elegance, and a cheerful palette, and the solemnity of the interiors, and a comfortable, well-thought-out layout

“In Moscow, where 63 sunny days a year is the norm, many people want to see bright colors at least in their own home. They have nowhere to gain energy, and they are trying to fill it through the interior. But do not think that active colors are certainly attributes of pop art, - says the author of the project Nadezhda Chernigov. - In classical interiors, juicy colors are familiar: the empire style is characterized by bright green and blue, rococo is dominated by pastel shades of blue and pink, and Victorian a lot of saturated red and purple tones. "

The owners had a clear idea of how the interior should feel: not wanting to get a stylistically emasculated product, they wanted the house to be bright, eclectic and comfortable to live in. In this, everyone was unanimous: the customers themselves, and their parents, and daughter, living together under the roof of this big house. In choosing one or another design technique, the author of the project mainly relied on intuition, which suggested where and what subject would be the most organic. And the fact that in one room peacefully get on with things in the Empire and Baroque style, in the opinion of Nadezhda Chernigova, it is absolutely acceptable; the main thing is that the interior evokes a sense of semantic unity. In several cases, the hostess’s proposals were the starting point for designing the decoration of specific rooms. So, the palette and style of the living room identified the wallpaper ZUBERthat charmed Nadezhda with its design, and the interior of the dining room was inspired by the antique chair it found in black and turquoise.

When designing the plan, the author first proposed to get rid of the second staircase in the living room: it took up too much space and covered a large window. In order to adjust the proportions of the two-light space that is too elongated in height, Nadezhda Chernigov decided to “extend” the balcony of the second floor around the perimeter of the entire living room: the real balustrade goes into the painted one, with murals looking at us, musicians with lutes and dancing girls. According to the plan, the landscape serving as a background for musicians is built according to the principle of enhanced perspective. This technique was first introduced by the Italian architect Palladio, using the decorations of the Olimpico theater in Vicenza. On the stage of the theater, the real scenery depth in five steps does not prevent the viewer from deceiving, imagining that several long streets go off the stage. Following the Palladian tradition, artist Dmitry Repin, the author of wall paintings in this house, depicted gazebos stretching into the frescoes. Such a technique magically increases space, filling it with air and light. Much can be said about this beautiful home, but perhaps the main distinctive feature of its interior should be considered scrupulous attention to the smallest details, peculiar, however, to all projects. Hope Chernigov. For example, in the house there is no white stucco at all - it is all covered with the finest painting; All the curtains and tablecloths were made according to the author's sketches and were inspired by the 19th century cut, and the cabinet tulle was embroidered at all specially for the design to repeat the stucco motifs. The chandelier with blue crystal pendants in the living room is also made in a single copy, and for the floor of the first floor there are four types of marble, carefully selected by color and pattern. At the company NADINE there is own production of textiles, and it allows Nadezhda to embody any of their design ideas, whether it's curtains, bedding, tablecloths, napkins or towels.

Project author Nadezhda Chernigov: “Already at the beginning of the project, the customers clearly formulated their main wish, which sounded like this:“ We want colors, we want a riot of color, we live a life, and the interiors in neutral colors are of no interest to us. ” I asked if they were sure that after some time they would not get tired of bright colors. But, as it turned out, their choice was absolutely right: after living in this house for more than two years, the family still feels comfortable and does not want to change anything in it. ”
