White snow, black earth, brown trunks of trees - this associative array is reflected in the interior of this apartment ... The authors of the project chose such a reserved coloristic decision deliberately: in their opinion, the interior, minimalist, is the most anthropomorphic and viable, ready to adapt as much as possible to the owner and satisfy all his requirementsSALON: The first thing that catches your eye here is the abundance of glass surfaces. Partitions between the dining room and the bedroom, for example ... What is the reason for such a stylistic decision? One of the authors of the project, Boris Uborevich-Borovsky, tells. - The fact is that the area of the apartment is rather modest. Therefore, in order to visually enlarge the existing space, we resorted to this technique. Glass partitions between rooms give a feeling of additional volume, light and air.S: The interior of the apartment is solved in a rather rigid minimalist manner. Recently, this style is increasingly blamed for coldness and lack of viability. Why is minimalism? - In fact, you can find fault with every style: baroque is too vain, modern is too artistic ... In my opinion, the two main styles in which it is now possible to work are classics (I mean the classics of the times of antiquity) and minimalism. The interior of the house is a part of your life, sometimes it lives with you for many years. Our experience shows that too bright, too beautiful interior rather quickly begins to tire and annoy. Therefore, we tried to make the most free space. We have created an interior that is not burdened with unnecessary geometry, color, so that over time it will not become boring. Moreover, we deliberately abandoned a variety of curved lines and curved surfaces in order to maintain the cleanliness of the form and the openness of space.S: In the color decision, too, preferred minimalism? - Yes. The color scheme in which this apartment is sustained consists of three basic colors: white (the color of the ceiling and walls), various shades of brown and black panels. We specifically chose a neutral range, which does not strain and does not tire the eyes ... I think the interior is comfortable.Boris Uborevich-Borovsky: "The apartment itself is not too big, therefore, working on the interior, we wanted to enlarge it visually. This is how transparent glass partitions appeared. They create a kind of optical illusion, visually expanding the space."
