November 28, during the International Salon "Show Interior" -2008 passed a master-class of director Marco Polo Lam Lee Collection Stefano Urbinati dedicated to the concept of "bourgeois style"

Stefano Urbinati told designers about the styles of the 20th century, which influenced the modern "bourgeois style", including biedermeyer, ar-deko and eclecticism of the postwar period. Most of the workshop was devoted to French ar-deko - The works of Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann (Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann), Jean Dunan (Jean Dunand) and Jean-Michel Frank (Jean-Michel Frank) From the Italian designers of the pre-war period, Urbinati drew attention to Joe Ponty (Gio Ponti), who boldly combined elements of the classical style and ar-deko. Speaking of the eclecticism of the 40s and 60s, Urbinatti showed the works of Andre Arbus and Eugene Printz. At the end of the master class Urbinati showed items from the collection LAM LEEas well as the furniture of the WAMA ROMA factory, explaining how modern designers use the ideas and techniques of the great masters of the "bourgeois style".
