This apartment is located in one of the lanes in the center of Moscow, in the house of the beginning of the twentieth century. Even after everything that this house underwent during the Soviet years, the very pre-revolutionary, old Moscow atmosphere remained here, the generation that nostalgia for which people experience, did not find that city. Work on this interior was not just in the design development - it was like a study: is it possible to recreate the atmosphere of a century ago with completely modern means and new materials without abusing patinating and fetishizing rags. One of the main decorative themes is stucco on the ceiling and cornices. There is almost nothing left of the old one, and the new one was made according to author’s sketches, inspired by classic patterns. Some elements of the decoration are remakes of what was already in the apartment. Parquet, marble window sills reproduce the old furnishings, but all the materials are new. Especially carefully selected shades of finishes and upholstery. The fact that the apartment is located in a narrow alley, and with natural light in her problem. Therefore, the responsible task was assigned to the color composition of the interior - to create the effect of a well-lit, bright room. And for electric lighting, too, lay an additional load - it performs here the function of almost festive illumination. By the selection of chandeliers and lamps by the author of the interior and the owners treated as a special kind of creativity.
Each room in this apartment has its own imaging system, its own face. But especially distinguished bedroom and office. It was decided to decorate the walls with bright wallpaper and fanciful plots.
