Eight designers from St. Petersburg will take part in the Nerka Design Happening exhibition, which takes place in Yerevan from June 15 to 24, 2018. The exhibition in the former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will collect 19 names from Armenia, Russia and Ukraine. The architects of the exposition were BARDI Architectural Studio.

Translated into Russian, Nerka means “present tense”. The exhibition appeared in 2016 as an independent initiative, designed to create a platform for communication and cooperation of the professional community. This year, Nerka Design Happening curator Emma Harutyunyan (Nerka Design Project) focused exclusively on the subject design with the simultaneous expansion of the participants' geography.

Russia is represented by Yaroslav Mizonzhnikov, Alexander Kanygin, Anya Druzhinina, Maxim Maximov, Katya Tolstykh, Sveta Gerasimova and Facultative Works (Alexey Galkin and Olga Marchenko).
