This multimedia library in Ventspils (Latvia) is a unique space. First of all, there is not a single ladder. And to the second level you can climb a spiral ramp. Along it are shelves of books. This was done primarily for people with disabilities. Throughout the library, they can move completely freely. Secondly, all architectural elements as if flow one into another and form a single supporting structure. The facade of the library is lined with thin sheet copper. On these panels are fragments of a manuscript of the famous Latvian folklorist and writer Krisjanis Barons.
