Hotel Odéon Saint-Germain, the interiors of which were worked by the famous decorator Жак Garcia, - new fashionable place of the French capital

The hotel is located in a building with history dating back to the 16th century. The modern design is due to the well-known French decorator and designer. Жаку Garcia. Garcia he never creates exact copies of one or another style; he perceives each project as a challenge to his knowledge and capabilities, prefers to mix different directions and use elements that are completely incompatible at first glance. In his projects, everything — up to seemingly the smallest details — was made according to individual sketches.

So, in Odéon Saint-Germain, all mahogany and oak furniture is custom-made under the guidance of a designer, as are all table-lamps, floor lamps (in this area Garcia - recognized master).

In Odéon Saint-Germain it offers four colors for the decoration of rooms - gray, beige, orange and purple. The walls of the corridor are bright scarlet, on the floor are thick carpeting in pastel colors, with gray and purple embossed. For furniture upholstery used taffeta in combination with velvet and fabrics that mimic the skin.

Textile decoration is complemented by canopies with luxurious embroidery and silk curtains (all textiles were made at the Lyon manufactory, one of the most respected in France). Bathrooms feature Murano mosaic and black marble from Zimbabwe. And in the rooms themselves authentic ceilings of the XVI century. By the way, it is possible to touch them centuries ago and people, and, accordingly, the ceilings were lower.
