Aged, respectable interior in a classic style, with a complex color scheme consisting of halftones and subtle color transitions, was a reflection of the inner world

For the author of the project Marina Dyachkova, this project is not the first collaboration with customers, before the designer has already done an interior for them. After some time, customers again turned to Marina with a request to start decorating their new apartment. After analyzing and studying the habits of the owners, family composition, the designer developed a planning scheme that meets the lifestyle of the owners. The owner is a famous person in the world of sports, an international judge, a prominent public figure. Therefore, the public zone was positioned by him as a purely representative — several times a year, solemn receptions were held in the house. In addition, it was assigned the functions of a certain worker, the personal space of the owner. That is why the author maximally isolated this part of the apartment from the private, family territory. The latter, in turn, is divided into parent and child halves (there are four children in a family: two girls and two boys of different ages), which are also extremely isolated and self-sufficient. Another interesting feature of the planning solution was the “crystal” portal. Due to the design features of the original space, with a small part of it, the hall had to “enter” the volume of the front parlor. The designer turned a disadvantage into a plus: the cube decorated with carved glass became the visual dominant of the interior. The graphics on the glass repeats the classic pattern of silk that covers the living room walls, and the deep carving on the glass makes the cube look like a precious crystal vase. The color scheme is an important part of the artistic concept. “Color is first of all emotions, mood, energy,” says Marina. “Therefore, choosing certain shades, I always focus on the preferences of customers. The hosts like calm, delicate combinations, without sharp, bright accents, such an elegant restraint, but at the same time respectable, creating the effect of a representative interior. Small, family living room, in particular, meets the tastes of the head of the house. I knew that he liked the cool silver gamma. It turned out an interesting room in silver-olive tones with pearl tints of the walls and ceiling. The play of cold tones makes the room especially elegant — associations with porcelain arise. The front living room feels warmer. The combination of shades of ivory, ecru, mustard-gold, muted turquoise, silver and gold patina creates a pleasant, comfortable, balanced atmosphere. The combination of "turquoise-gold" (and their semitones) is the most classical one. In addition, each color carries its own meaning and enriches the interior in its own way. Turquoise is a symbol of hope, life, prosperity. Gold is associated with wealth, light, sun. And green and ocher are a natural harmonious combination, often found in nature. ”
