Strange for our ears, the double name of the resort appeared because there are many Baden. German is located in the Baden – Württemberg area. There are Badens in Austria and in Switzerland. In order not to be confused, the German Badens decided to clarify. Popular in the XIX century, the European (and Russian) nobility entertainment “ride on the waters” was associated with such places — cozy, well-groomed and respectable. The Romans knew about the thermal springs here, and in the 18th century, equipped baths and clinics appeared here.
