“Art does not know the past, everything that is great and simply significant in its history lives now.” A. Dobrokhotov Today it is much easier to express oneself by developing stylistic concepts of web-design than directing one’s creative potential to archaic. But nevertheless, they turned to her, turn and will appeal, because it gives you the opportunity to plunge into the aura of the past, to catch its rhythm and breath, and hence the world perception. It is both easy and difficult to decorate a historically formed interior with floristic compositions at the same time, because the situation itself dictates what it needs. It is enough for a florist to be attentive and to have some idea about the history of art in order to determine whether the interior belongs to a particular style. Although now there is a simplified classification: everything that was fashionable and relevant until the twentieth century, belongs to the style, conventionally called "retro". Basically, this category includes works whose purpose is to create harmony with the interior of a particular era. And the form of the bouquets are quite traditional, already familiar to the eyes: hemisphere, oval or triangle. But experiments are possible. There are some subtleties that distinguish bouquets made in such styles as, for example, Baroque and Rococo, but the line between them is now too blurred, and we used to call it all just a classic. At the same time, of course, it is impossible not to take into account that we are still people of our time and a certain symbiosis of the past with the present cannot be avoided: these are new techniques, and new varieties of flowers, and just a different world view. The decision to decorate this interior with floral compositions was connected with the preparation of a modest reception in a historic building occupied by a foreign embassy. The mansion of the XIX century, preserved without any changes, is not a modern office, in which to create a solemn atmosphere it is enough to hang garlands of balloons with the logo of the native enterprise. Therefore, we decided to resort to the old and proven method of decorating the interior with flowers. Retro is a style of mood, so it does not require any incredible delights. His goal is to be close to the story.
