The Christianne B superyacht is owned by Francesco Trapani, the head of the Bvlgari empire. He once remarked that swimming on the high seas is the best way to spend time.

In the mouth of the captain of one of the most visible ships in the stormy sea of big business, this revelation sounds like a metaphor. Let this "sailing" - in its own way fascinating, but still worth noting: in his own words Francesco Trapani, he spent the best time in his life with his family on board his own sailing yacht.

"I am Italian, and my passion for the sea is in my blood," says Trapani. In 2001, he flew to St. Martin (on the Caribbean islands) for a test cruise of the sailing yacht of his business partner Lorenz von Liechtenstein. Apparently, the sea genes took their toll, because in February 2002, Mr. Trapani had already gotten his own yacht, which Christianne B. called. the name of the famous yacht Onassis (Christina O). Involuntarily starting to compare them, you find obvious differences in how the owners of the two superyachts understood luxury. There - gold and marble, precious mosaic, whale leather. Here - simple forms, noble materials, restrained colors.

That is how the designers designed the yacht Francesco Trapani. “Being Italian is a big advantage, especially if you work in the luxury industry,” says the owner of Bvlgari. He invites only stars to the yacht, and luxury rhymes only with luxury. And very subtle and intelligent. It seems that indeed the descendants of the ancient Romans know a certain secret of good taste - the best of the "plants" growing on ancient soil. Francesco Trapani bought this yacht from an American lady. He tried so that nothing in the new design of the boat would remind of the American taste of its former owner. Instead of bright colors there is a restrained palette of warm natural tones from brown to creamy, a lot of polished teak, and in the bedrooms, which, by the way, are four on the yacht, are cloth-covered panels and veil with floral patterns.

Salon is decorated with bright sofas made to order in the factory B&B ITALIA. They look especially fresh and elegant against the background of dark wood. All pieces of furniture, including coffee tables and bar stools, are with rounded corners. It is clear that on yachts this is done to ensure safety, but on Christianne B the streamlining of objects is a design technique by which the marine theme is subtly marked in the interior.

And if you climb from the cabin to the deck, then you can fully appreciate how beautifully streamlined the interior is combined with the magnificent exterior of a sailing yacht, and the sails - with the sea landscape. This is a gradual construction of beauty in the degree - a thoughtful and win-win move.
