SALON: Dmitry Olegovich, how do you think architecture and design are developing in Russia? “Hi-tech, minimalism, modernism, postmodernism, classicism, Empire style, historicism — on the whole, such an abundance of boards in interior design rather means that we have neo-eclectics in this area. I do not see anything bad or derogatory in this word. It is just that modern art mentality turned stylistic trends into letters of its alphabet, and an architectural-design language emerged in which one can quite clearly express what he wants to say about himself and his house. I think that development will continue along this path for quite some time.
