Francois Danek became engaged in antiques many years ago. Initially specialized in furniture
Accessories and accessories that he created, became popular. “People came to my boutique, looked at individual objects, then at the whole situation and said:“ We want our house to look just like your boutique! ”And I, at the whim of my clients, had to create not only individual things , but the whole interior. So, at first I was an antique dealer, then a designer, and finally became a decorator. Now I am one and the other, and the third, "laughs Francois. In all three guises, he also performed on the design of his Parisian home.
This house is a collection of the master's works. The main building is connected with a wing of the courtyard, which due to the abundance of plants resembles tropical jungle. The interiors of residential buildings are associated with the huts of the natives or the houses of British colonists, lost in this very jungle. Accessories - ceramics, stone artifacts, African sculpture, stuffed wild animals, and hides are responsible for creating an ethnic atmosphere. In Pandan - furniture made of exotic wood and leather.
Francois sees in ethnics the equivalent of luxury. And he knows a lot about it. “I got used to it from childhood,” says Francois. “My aunt, a very wealthy woman, often took me on trips abroad. We visited various places. It seems to me that this was my main school. It was here that I learned to feel and understand the beauty. " According to the basic education, Francois is an art historian. He wrote a diploma in animal painting of the 20th century. Where does this interest in animals come from? It turns out from childhood. As a child, Francois could not tear himself away from comics and descriptions of the life of wild animals. As a result, in his mature years he creates accessories, furniture and interiors, in which the theme of wildlife plays the main role. "Yes, yes, naturalistic designer," laughs a satisfied Parisian antiquarian-designer-decorator.
Author manager Francois Danek: "I began to be interested in ethnic art in childhood. The further, the more I was fond of primitive cultures, life and customs of peoples far from Western civilization. I was interested in the sources, all that was before the now ubiquitous stone jungle. So let's say, the jungle real, original. But, honestly, I didn’t expect it to become my main occupation. Somehow I gradually sank deeper and deeper, I just started trading in colonial antiques and finished creating interiors in ethnic spirit, and at t have my whole life - it's a jungle, and jungle - my life "
