Every year, a new yoke appears in the calendar with a passion for the theme of collection design. At the beginning of March 2018 in Brussels for the first time will open the doors of Collactible, a platform, in the formation and promotion of which considerable funds and intellectual resources are invested.
By topic: Exhibitions, fairs and festivals: a full calendar for 2018
Collectible format is a gallery offer of design objects designed and manufactured in the 21st century. That is, for the past twenty years. The exhibition committee, which selects the masterpieces, includes the design biennial in Istanbul and the head of the social design department of the Eindhoven Design Academy, Jan Bohlen, wallpaper and director of the magazine Wallpaper Tony Chambers, journalist and freelancer Maria Christine Didero and art director Hermès Petit Pascal Mussard.

“Our main task is to satisfy the interest in design, which is growing among collectors and art lovers. And also to unite around the design representatives of related areas, ”say fair founder Clely Debeau and Liv Weisberg. There will be no vintage, no icons of the twentieth century.

«Мы хотим подарить арт&дизайну свежесть и новые перспективы». Обе дамы обещают новый подход в подаче объектов — все будет максимально зрелищно и на самом высоком уровне. Гости Collectible придут не просто покупать, они придут узнавать дизайн, восхищаться им, открывать новые имена и горячие тенденции.

Among the designers whose works will be exhibited at the galleries' stands are venerable pros like Ado Shalya, Pierre Bonfiy, Xavier Lyust. The special projects included the installation of Studio Job. Moscow designer Olga Engel makes his debut on the international stage with a collection of lamps.

The fair will be enhanced by non-profitable projects, which will be attended by renowned Belgian museums: the Brussels Design Museum ADAM, the Innovative Design Center (CID) at Grand Orneu, the Design Museum in Ghent, the Victor Orta Museum and the National School of Visual Arts La Cambre.

The Collactible Fair will be held in Brussels from March 8 to 11.
