The underlined conciseness of the lines, perfectly polished surfaces ... Alta tells about the collection of table silver Altah Ulrich Ackermann, director of the company Robbe&Berking

“See how these silverware — the coffee pot, the teapot, and other serving items that I keep on the tray — contrast with the huge candlestick in the style Empire! Contrast in size and style. And it can be interesting to beat in the interior. After all, the modern approach to it does not necessarily imply following one style, and this makes it possible to approach the table setting creatively. A collection of silver Alta for creativity is a godsend: it is literally a work of art! All items were designed by renowned designer Wilfred Moll, inspired by the ideas of the architectural school "Bauhaus". We dedicated the collection to her. (In 2009, by the way, 90 years have passed since its discovery.) At various times masters of architecture, design, painting — Walter Gropius, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Wassily Kandinsky — taught there ... The concept of Bauhaus itself became known meaning nominal, denoting immediately and minimalism, and functionality, and originality, and taste.

About each of the items you can tell something special. This kettle, for example, is made from a single sheet of silver. And all the subjects together distinguish the noble simplicity of forms, the nobility of the material - silver of the 925-th test. And, very importantly, manual work at all stages of production. ”
