Easter is probably the most ancient spring festival. For many centuries, it has been overgrown with pies and ribbons, painted eggs, and the first flowers on the same April or May morning once a year. Easter is the arrival of a new life, and it should be started ab ovo - that is, from the egg The author of the floral compositions presented on these pages is Lyudmila Bondarchuk. In her works, she tried to get away from stereotypes by showing Easter unusual - living, landscape, deep and philosophical at the same time. The land, recently awakened from the snow, bird nests swinging in the wind, flourished cakes, traditional eggs made from completely unconventional material - gypsum, Easter wreaths, in which bright leaves of bergrass take the place of bright ribbons - this is also Easter, but in a natural manner. There is very little ritual and symbolism in it, but there are childhood memories, timeless images and the feeling of spring.1. Lyudmila Bondarchuk: "The composition in the form of a nest is traditionally Easter. The work completely imitates nature, not rethinking it floristically. But instead of eggs I used tulips, which symbolically convey the image of birth."2. "The festive Easter wreaths were very bright, decorated with ribbons and eggs and hung on the street at the entrance to the house. My wreath is not quite traditional, because it looks more like a cupcake, and instead of ribbons and eggs it is decorated with orange colored bergrass leaves."3. "At the heart of this work are my childhood memories. I remember how mother baked kulich and laid painted Easter eggs around it. I did the same by developing the idea with colors. The most interesting thing here is a coloristic solution: color transition from the center to the circle captures almost half of the color wheel. "4. "Through the similarity of form - eggs and bud - I tried to convey the idea of rebirth and continuity. Tulips" arise "from eggs and thus give rise to a new life."5. "We used one of the methods of floristics, when the form is taken as the basis. The gypsum part continues floristic."6. "This composition can be viewed as an Easter-spring table setting. From a philosophical point of view, I wanted to embody the idea of creating order from chaos."7. "The tunnel is the idea of birth. At its beginning is an egg, at the end a new life."
